United States Air Force This website is provided by the Air Force for the purposes of providing information and assisting in the evaluation of potential environmental and human health impacts resulting from basing the new KC-46A tanker at the Formal Training Unit (FTU) and the First Main Operating Base (MOB 1). The new KC-46A Tanker is intended to replace a portion of the U.S. Air Force's aging fleet of KC-135 Stratotankers which has been the primary refueling aircraft for more than 50 years.

Pursuant to the CEQ regulations the Air Force invites public participation in the NEPA process.

Throughout this EIS process, this website will provide information documenting the potential impacts of the beddown of this aircraft at the alternative bases identified for the FTU and MOB 1 missions.
